00011IP <br /> se4EL LETT <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1940-93 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the application and <br /> appraisal fees for street and alley <br /> vacations, Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance No. <br /> 1447-88 (EMC 13 . 36. 010 and . 020) . <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1447-88 (EMC <br /> 13 . 36. 010) reads as follows: <br /> Every application for the vacation of any street <br /> and alley, or any part thereof, shall be <br /> accompanied by a payment to the City of a fee of <br /> Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) to defray the <br /> costs of processing such vacation petitions and <br /> such fee shall not be refunded. <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Every application for the vacation of any street <br /> and alley, or any part thereof, shall be <br /> accompanied by a payment to the City of a fee of <br /> Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350) to defray the <br /> costs of processing such vacation petitions and <br /> such fee shall not be refunded. <br /> Section 2 : Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1447-88 (EMC <br /> 13 . 36. 020) which reads as follows: <br /> At the time the City Council, or a committee <br /> thereof, recommends granting a vacation petition, <br /> an additional fee of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars <br /> ($250) shall be paid to cover appraisal costs for <br /> a street or alley abutting property which is zoned <br /> single-family residential, provided, however, the <br /> fee shall be Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750) to <br /> cover the appraisal costs for a street or alley <br /> abutting on property zones for non-residential <br /> uses and multiple-residence, or high-density. In <br /> the event the appraisal cost is less than the <br /> payment thereof, the vacation compensation payable <br /> to the City shall be reduced by the difference <br />
