Single-family activity varied with the general economy, with peaks <br /> in the middle of the decade, followed by troughs at the end of the decade. <br /> Multifamily activity varied more widely throughout the economic cycle. By 2010, <br /> however, activity was low in all structure types. The breakout is shown in detail in <br /> Table 8.
