REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATIONS FOR WATER :,ERVICE <br />ADJACENT TO CITY OF EVERETT TRANSMISSION LINES <br />Direct water services to property owners fronting or near City of Everett water <br />transmission mains are not encouraged. 'lie primary purpose of such mains is to <br />transmit large volumes of water to the reservoirs in the City of Everett and they <br />are not desi,mned for local water distribution. Accordingly, water service from such <br />mains is not considered to be within the customary water distribution system of the <br />City of Everett, and the undersigned applicant agrees to accept water service <br />subject to the following conditions which are not ordinarily applicable to other City <br />of Everett water customers: <br />1. The City of Everett will provide a service tap only to its right-of-way <br />boundary. <br />2. Service will be provided only where the surrounding water districts will not <br />provide service for the applicant, and a written statement from the <br />associated districts to that effect will be obtained prior to service. <br />3. Applicant agrees to participate in future water districts when established <br />and to relinquish the individual service at that time. <br />4. Applicant has County or State approved plans for water service and fire <br />protection, if applicable. <br />5. Access to the property is provided and approved by those parties concerned, <br />public or private, when the applicant does not (rant on our transmission <br />main right-of-way. (If private property is crossed, an easement must be <br />recorded with property description. If public property must be crossed, then <br />written permission from the appropriate authority is required.) <br />6. Appliennl agrees to accept interruptible service and provide any necessary <br />storage. <br />7. Applicant will provide any information required by the Everett Water <br />Department related to applicant's service facilities. <br />8.
