1 <br /> 7. To do all other acts which from the character or use of the Premises may be <br /> reasonably necessary to preserve and conserve its value. <br /> B. Resident Eligibility <br /> 1. Residents shall not be required to have residency in a specific service area in <br /> order to be eligible tenants. <br /> 2. Residents shall not be denied occupancy due to inability to pay. <br /> 3. Residents have a right to equal access and shall not be discriminated based on <br /> age, ancestry, color, creed, marital status, national origin, political ideology, race, <br /> religion, sexual orientation, or the presence of a physical, mental or sensory <br /> disability or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a disabled <br /> person. <br /> C. Occupancy Procedures <br /> The Agency shall cause the Owner to establish reasonable rules of conduct and <br /> occupancy for the Project which shall be consistent with state and federal law. The <br /> rules shall be in writing and shall be given to each resident. <br /> D. Resident Services on the Premises <br /> The Owner will not be providing direct services to the residents, but the Agency shall <br /> cause the Owner to coordinate access to and delivery of off-site social and medical <br /> services for tenants who desire assistance. See Section IV of Exhibit A for more <br /> detailed description of service coordination to be provided. <br /> E. Employment Discrimination <br /> In providing employment in connection with the Project, the Agency shall not <br /> discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, sexual orientation, national origin, <br /> sex, or the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability or the use of a <br /> trained dog guide or service animal by a disabled person. <br /> City of Everett <br /> AHTF Agreement <br /> 12 Washington Home of Your Own <br /> Page 7 of 15 <br />
