Please submit two sets of drawings with a response letter indicating how corrections are resolved on the plan set. General 1. To identify what is being proposed as new work on this permit, please identify new work on the drawings. a. For example, new work should be indicated with dark lines and notes. b. The drawings should be clear enough that the scope of the new work could be understood and built by someone other than the submitter. 2. Please include on the drawings the applicable building codes, as referenced at the bottom of this letter. Accessibility 1. The drawings should indicate the accessible route to the main entry of the building, per IBC section 3411.8.1. 2. Please include the total count of customer parking space on the site. a. For every six (or fraction of six) accessible parking spaces, one van accessible parking space is required, per IBC section 1106.5. 3. The dimensions of the van accessible parking stall and access aisle should be shown on the drawings, per IBC section 3411.4.2 (4) and ICC/A117.1-2003 section 502.4. 4. Parking signage should be shown on the drawings to comply with IBC section 1110.1 and ICC A117.1-2003 section 502.7. Applicable codes include the 2012 International Building Code (IBC).
