Please submit two sets of drawings <br /> with a response letter indicating how corrections are resolved on the plan set. <br /> General <br /> 1. To identify what is being proposed as new work on this permit, please identify new work <br /> on the drawings. <br /> a. For example, new work should be indicated with dark lines and notes. <br /> b. The drawings should be clear enough that the scope of the new work could be <br /> understood and built by someone other than the submitter. <br /> 2. Please include on the drawings the applicable building codes, as referenced at the <br /> bottom of this letter. <br /> Accessibility <br /> 1. The drawings should indicate the accessible route to the main entry of the building, per <br /> IBC section 3411.8.1. <br /> 2. Please include the total count of customer parking space on the site. <br /> a. For every six (or fraction of six) accessible parking spaces, one van accessible <br /> parking space is required, per IBC section 1106.5. <br /> 3. The dimensions of the van accessible parking stall and access aisle should be shown on <br /> the drawings, per IBC section 3411.4.2 (4) and ICC/A117.1-2003 section 502.4. <br /> 4. Parking signage should be shown on the drawings to comply with IBC section 1110.1 <br /> and ICC A117.1-2003 section 502.7. <br /> Applicable codes include the 2012 International Building Code (IBC). The current IBC <br /> referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 Accessible and Usable Buildings and <br /> 0_1 <br />
