Here is the story. <br /> 1. On 11/05/2013 it was discovered by Public works inspector Cliff Lindman that clearing grading and excavation work <br /> was occurring at a vacant parcel of land located at 1115 East Casino road. Mr. Lindman posted a stop work on the <br /> property for the clearing and excavation work that was occurring without required permits. Photos of the construction <br /> activity were taken for the record. In addition to the stop work order Mr. Lindman contacted the Developer, a Mr. Curt <br /> Johnson to inform him of the stop order and the violations.This work is a violation of Everett city ordinance 898-82 <br /> subsection 1-7 of the Design and Construction Standards and Specifications for Development. <br /> 2. On 7/22/2014 Inspector Lindman revisited the site to assess the current status and conditions on the property. Mr. <br /> Lindman observed that additional construction activity had occurred since the initial visit and stop work order posting on <br /> 11/05/2013.Since that date a large concrete structure that appears to be a detention vault has been constructed.This <br /> concrete structure has been constructed without required permits or approvals this is a violation of R105.1 Required <br /> Permits. The continuation of work is a violation of the stop work order in effect on the property this is an Unlawful act <br /> in violation of The International Building Code, sections "114.1 Unlawful Acts" and 115.3 "Unlawful Continuance". <br /> Photos, reports and associated documents will be entered into our CRW system. <br /> Please initiate enforcement action as your schedule allows. <br /> Please contact me or office manager Paul McKee if you have any questions. <br /> Thank you <br /> Ted Budden <br /> Chief Inspector <br /> Everett Building Division <br />
