Secured$500,000 per year of additional,ongoing funding. Facilitated <br /> development of an annual Health Care and Business Plan for the organization. Monroe,Michigan. <br /> March 1989-November 1997 <br /> Responsible for development and implementation of the Camp Health Aide Program,a community health <br /> promotion program and a winner of the"Models That Work"Campaign sponsored by the Bureau of Primary <br /> Health Care. Played an instrumental role in developing the agency from a small pilot project with a budget of <br /> $300,000 to a stable,nationally-known provider of health promotion programs in migrant farmworker <br /> communities with a budget of$1 million. Carried out program planning,implementation and evaluation of <br /> federal grant programs and a multi-State project funded by the Kellogg Foundation. Supervised programs in <br /> several States,including the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Established a satellite office in Texas and oversaw <br /> program operations out of that office,until it was large enough to warrant a local manager. <br />
