Based on the description of the work, the plans that were prepared by your architect will
need to be submitted for building permit. Once the building permit is issued, and any additional permits required, the
work will be inspected. At final inspection, you can request a certificate of occupancy for the Everett Mall Management.
To submit the permit, a letter will be required from the Everett Mall authorizing you as the tenant to do the work.
Applications, fees, and other information are online here: https://everettwa.gov/1364/Permit-Instructions
Our hours are listed on our website, and permits have to be submitted at least a half hour before lunch or before we
close for the day.
If you have questions about permit submittal, probably the best source for answers are the Permit Technicians (Terri and
Tawnya) who can be reached at 425-257-8810, then press 8. I can answer technical questions about the applicable
building codes, and anything else that Terri or Tawnya would like to refer to me.
Meg
MEG HALEY, RA I City of Everett.Permit Services
3200 Cedar St, Everett WA 98201 1425.257.8813
mhalev@everettwa.gov I www.everettwa.gov/Permits
2
