Planning Commission <br /> held a public hearing and recommended that City Council approve the Plan. The Transportation Advisory <br /> Committee also reviewedthe plan and recommended that City Council approve the Everett:Bicycle Master <br /> Plan. <br /> The intent of the Everett Bicycle Master Plan is to promote bicycle travel by providing more detailed <br /> planning than in the Comprehensive Plan,including a detailed list of proposed bicycle Improvements, <br /> recommended programs for education,enforcement,encouragement'and evaluations-design standards for <br /> bicycle facilities, and implementation and funding strategies <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt an Ordinance adopting the Everett Bicycle Master Plan and incorporating the Plan into the Everett <br /> Comprehensive Plan, amending Ordinance No. 2021-94,as amended. <br /> 149 <br />
