With this funding we are providing waste reduction, recycling and composting <br /> information and assistance to city businesses,multi-family properties, schools and city residents. <br /> The total grant amount is $141,596, allocated in a multi-phase agreement. Phase One consisted of all four <br /> quarters of 2010, in the amount of$86,798. Amendments Two and Three were letter amendments from <br /> Ecology redistributing the costs among budget elements of the grant. <br /> Amendment No. 4 will allocate Phase Two funding for the first two quarters of 2011 in the amount of <br /> $27,398. The state share for this phase will be $20,549. Everett's share will be $6,849. There will be <br /> another amendment to cover the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2011. <br /> • <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Coordinated Prevention Grant Amendment No. 4 with the Washington <br /> Department of Ecology in the amount of$27,398. <br /> 157 <br />
