The original agreement required Sound Transit to pay the City $126,658 per year for maintenance and security services at Everett Station. This new agreement defines the property,easements and ownership of the capital improvements made at Everett Station since the original agreement was written and increases the base contract price to $166,658 per year. The base contract price is adjusted annually to the Seattle Area consumer price index. The agreement replaces all previous agreements and amendments and is effective from January 1, 2011, through December 31, 2015. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Everett Station Operations and Maintenance Agreement with Sound Transit. 171
