App. <br /> • <br /> EVERETT <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1887-92 <br /> AN ORDINANCE repealing the City's Sign Code and the <br /> City's Sign Hanger's License Requirements, <br /> Sections 1, 2 , 3 and 4 of Chapter 12 of Ordinance <br /> No. 295-74 ; Sections 4, 5 and 13 of Ordinance No. <br /> 4041; and Ordinance No. 1239-86 . <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City regulates signage <br /> through the City's Zoning Code, State Building Code and the <br /> requirements of the City's Sign Hanger licensing regulations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that because of adequate <br /> regulation of signage through the City's Zoning Code and State <br /> Building Code it is unnecessary to continue to require licensing <br /> of sign hangers; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the provisions of the City's <br /> sign code have been largely superseded by the sign regulations in <br /> the City's Zoning Code; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: The following is hereby repealed: <br /> A. Sections 1, 2 , 3 and 4 of Chapter 12 of Ordinance No. 295-74 <br /> (Chapter 5. 48 of the Everett Municipal Code) ; and <br /> B.
