prepare and file with the Clerk of this jurisdiction a <br /> report specifying the work done, the itemized and total <br /> cost of the work, a description of the real property <br /> upon which the building or structure is or was located, <br /> and the names and addresses of the persons entitled to <br /> notice pursuant to subsection (c) of Section 401. <br /> H. Section 909 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of <br /> Dangerous Buildings, 1991 Edition, is hereby amended by <br /> deleting: <br /> After confirmation of the report, certified copies of <br /> the assessment shall be given to the Assessor and the <br /> Tax Collector for this jurisdiction, who shall add the <br /> amount of the assessment to the next regular tax bill <br /> levied against the parcel for municipal purposes. <br /> and inserting in its place: <br /> Section 909 . After confirmation of the report, <br /> certified copied of the assessment shall be given to <br /> the County and the City Tax Collector who shall include <br /> the amount of the assessment in the general taxes. <br /> I. The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, <br /> 1991 Edition, is hereby amended by the following addition: <br /> Chapter Ten: Emergency Procedure <br /> City Council Action. In cases where it reasonably <br /> appears that there is immediate danger to the life or <br /> safety of any person unless a dangerous building is <br /> immediately repaired, secured, vacated or demolished, <br /> the Building Official shall report the fact to the City <br /> Council of the City of Everett and the City Council may <br /> cause a resolution to be passed authorizing the <br /> Building Official to affect the immediate repair, <br /> securing, vacation or demolition of the dangerous <br /> building. The costs of the emergency repair, securing, <br /> vacation, or demolition of such dangerous buildings <br /> shall be collected in the same manner as provided in <br /> Chapter Nine. <br /> J. The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, <br /> 1991 Edition, is hereby amended by the addition of the <br /> following section: <br /> Authority to Abate. <br /> a) Any violation of the Code is hereby declared to be <br /> a nuisance. <br /> 6 <br />
