• <br /> • <br /> • <br /> f; <br /> ‘44ELw/gETT <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1885-92 <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the adoption of the <br /> 1991 Editions of the Uniform Plumbing Code <br /> and the Uniform Plumbing Code Standards and <br /> repealing Ordinance No. 1609-89 . <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: This ordinance shall be known as the "Everett <br /> Plumbing Code. " <br /> SECTION 2 : The Uniform Plumbing Code and the Uniform <br /> Plumbing Code Standards, together with Appendices A, B, C, D <br /> and H and the Installation Standards, as published by the <br /> International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical <br /> Officials, as amended by WAC 51-26 and 51-29, being <br /> particularly the 1991 Editions thereof and the whole <br /> thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter <br /> deleted, modified or amended are hereby adopted by reference <br /> and incorporated herein as fully as if set out at length <br /> herein. <br /> SECTION 3 : Amendments Made in the Uniform Plumbing Code <br /> and the Uniform Plumbing Code Standard. <br /> A. The 1991 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code is hereby <br /> amended by deleting Chapter 12 of the Code in its entirety. <br /> B. Notwithstanding any wording in the 1991 Editions of the <br /> Uniform Plumbing Code or the Uniform Plumbing Code <br /> Standards, neither the Uniform Plumbing Code nor the Uniform <br /> Plumbing Code Standards shall apply to the installation of <br /> gas piping, water heaters, or vents for water heaters. <br /> C. Section 20. 2 (a) of the 1991 Edition of the Uniform <br /> Plumbing Code is hereby amended by deleting: <br /> The Administrator Authority may appoint such <br /> assistants, deputies, inspectors or other <br /> employees as are authorized to carry out the <br /> functions of the department of this Code. <br /> and inserting in its place: <br />
