too EVEI4ETT ORDINANCE NO. 1863-92 AN ORDINANCE amending a special fund entitled "Southwest Everett Intersection Improvements" , Fund 394, to accumulate all design and construction costs for the Intersection Improvement Project. WHEREAS, the City of Everett recognizes that access improvements must be made to accommodate the vehicular traffic generated by development in the southwest Everett area; and WHEREAS, recent traffic studies and comprehensive planning completed by the City of Everett indicate a need for intersection improvements in the southwest Everett area; and WHEREAS, intersection improvements in the southwest Everett area are an integral part of the transportation mitigation program of the City of Everett; and WHEREAS, there is a need to change line item appropriatiions to complete the predesign scope of work; and NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A Special Design and Construction Fund is hereby established as Fund 394, entitled "Southwest Everett Intersection Improvements" to accumulate all costs for the intersection improvement project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 394 for predesign, design and construction of the intersection improvements. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" , under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance.
