ORDINANCE NO. /Of- / AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett 4!4.4111(ir as provided by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended (Title 19, EMC) to encompass an area located south of 100th Street SE on 25th Avenue SE (Eisenhower Middle School). ANNEXATION #A3-91 REZONE #6-91 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on July 2, 1991 the Everett Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding establishment of the zoning designation for the hereinafter described property annexed to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Everett, after hearing the recommendations of the Planning Commission, has determined that said property should be zoned R-S-1, Smaller Lot Suburban Residential. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett and meets the purpose of the General Plan as amended by Resolution No. 3535. Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code), is hereby amended by the addition of the following: All that portion of the Northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of the South half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 20; THENCE, South along the East line of said subdivision of said section to the Southeast corner thereof; THENCE, West along the South line of said subdivision of said section to the Southwest corner thereof; THENCE, North along the West line of said subdivision of said section to the Northwest corner thereof; THENCE, East along the North line of said subdivision of said section to the Northeast corner, and the POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 3: Attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A" is a map which identifies the area zoned in Section 2 herein.
