EYERETT 411111 ORDINANCE NO. 1853-92 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended (Title 19 , Everett Municipal Code) rezoning the area generally described as the West half of the block bounded by 35th on the North, Rucker on the West, 36th on the South, and the alley to the East. WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on December 5, 1991, the City of Everett Land Use Hearing Examiner held a public hearing concerning a rezone regarding the hereinafter described property from R-4 , Multi-Family High Density, to B-2 , Community Business, and as a result of that hearing the Examiner recommends the rezone of said property from R-4 to B-2 ; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the best interests of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Everett will be met by this rezone; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the hereinafter described property should be rezoned to B-2 , Community Business; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is consistent with the applicable provisions of the Everett General Plan; bears a substantial relation to the public health, safety and welfare; and promotes the best long term interests of the Everett community. Section 2 : That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended (Title 19 , Everett Municipal Codes) , is hereby amended from R-4 , Multiple Family High Density to B-2 , Community Business, for the following described property: Lot 1 of Block 851, Plat of Everett, Division "H" , according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 4 of Plats, page 50, records of Snohomish County, Washington.
