EYERETT <br /> 411111 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1853-92 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of <br /> Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as <br /> amended (Title 19 , Everett Municipal Code) <br /> rezoning the area generally described as the West <br /> half of the block bounded by 35th on the North, <br /> Rucker on the West, 36th on the South, and the <br /> alley to the East. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on December 5, 1991, the <br /> City of Everett Land Use Hearing Examiner held a public hearing <br /> concerning a rezone regarding the hereinafter described property <br /> from R-4 , Multi-Family High Density, to B-2 , Community Business, <br /> and as a result of that hearing the Examiner recommends the <br /> rezone of said property from R-4 to B-2 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the best interests of the <br /> health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Everett will be met <br /> by this rezone; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the hereinafter described <br /> property should be rezoned to B-2 , Community Business; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the <br /> zoning change hereinafter set forth is consistent with the <br /> applicable provisions of the Everett General Plan; bears a <br /> substantial relation to the public health, safety and welfare; <br /> and promotes the best long term interests of the Everett <br /> community. <br /> Section 2 : That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended (Title 19 , <br /> Everett Municipal Codes) , is hereby amended from R-4 , Multiple <br /> Family High Density to B-2 , Community Business, for the following <br /> described property: <br /> Lot 1 of Block 851, Plat of Everett, Division "H" , <br /> according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 4 of <br /> Plats, page 50, records of Snohomish County, <br /> Washington. <br />
