ORDINANCE NO. 1827-91 EVERETT <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund entitled "Airport Road and <br /> Casino Road Traffic Signal Improvements" , Fund 321, to accumulate all <br /> the design and construction costs for the Traffic Signal Improvement <br /> Project and repealing Ordinance No. 1474-88. <br /> WHEREAS, on February 25, 1988 the City of Everett entered into an agreement <br /> with the Washington State Department of Transportation to provide federal <br /> funding of preliminary engineering costs for the design of traffic signal <br /> improvements at the intersection of Airport Road and Casino Road and; <br /> WHEREAS,based on the traffic studies, other improvements, cost revisions and <br /> citizen input there is a need to revise the existing ordinance; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: A Special Design and Construction Fund is hereby established as <br /> Fund 321, entitled "Airport Road and Casino Road Traffic Signal <br /> Improvements" to accumulate the design and construction costs <br /> for the traffic signal improvements. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute <br /> payments from Fund 321 for design and construction of the <br /> traffic signal improvements. <br /> Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" , <br /> under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete <br /> responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: The sum of $133,600 is hereby appropriated to Fund 321, "Airport <br /> Road and Casino Road Traffic Signal Improvements" , as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Preliminary Engineering, W.O. 2085 $ 23, 363 <br /> Construction, W.O. 2155 110, 237 <br /> TOTAL ESTIMATED COST, FUND 321 $ 133,600 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> 1. Preliminary Engineering (W.O. 2085) <br /> HES (Federal Aid) $ 20,460 <br /> Gas Tax (F301) `2,903 <br /> SUBTOTAL $ 23,363 <br />
