ORDINANCE NO. 1827-91 EVERETT AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund entitled "Airport Road and Casino Road Traffic Signal Improvements" , Fund 321, to accumulate all the design and construction costs for the Traffic Signal Improvement Project and repealing Ordinance No. 1474-88. WHEREAS, on February 25, 1988 the City of Everett entered into an agreement with the Washington State Department of Transportation to provide federal funding of preliminary engineering costs for the design of traffic signal improvements at the intersection of Airport Road and Casino Road and; WHEREAS,based on the traffic studies, other improvements, cost revisions and citizen input there is a need to revise the existing ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A Special Design and Construction Fund is hereby established as Fund 321, entitled "Airport Road and Casino Road Traffic Signal Improvements" to accumulate the design and construction costs for the traffic signal improvements. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 321 for design and construction of the traffic signal improvements. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" , under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $133,600 is hereby appropriated to Fund 321, "Airport Road and Casino Road Traffic Signal Improvements" , as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Preliminary Engineering, W.O. 2085 $ 23, 363 Construction, W.O. 2155 110, 237 TOTAL ESTIMATED COST, FUND 321 $ 133,600 B. Source of Funds 1. Preliminary Engineering (W.O. 2085) HES (Federal Aid) $ 20,460 Gas Tax (F301) `2,903 SUBTOTAL $ 23,363
