The arterial streets to be overlaid this year have been prioritized and selected on the <br /> basis of the City's Pavement Management System. Additionally, this project will assist the Parks and Public <br /> Works Departments with some needed asphalt projects. The overlay project includes a base bid of <br /> approximately 9,230 tons of hot-mix asphalt, utility adjustments, and all other appurtenances necessary to <br /> complete the work. <br /> The budget for this project is $1,460,802.00 and the sources of funds are: <br /> Fund 119—Street Improvements $ 1,357,996.00 <br /> Fund 101 —Parks 63,482.00 <br /> Fund 401 —Public Works 39,324.00 <br /> Total sources of funds $ 1,460,802.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize a call for bids for the 2011 Overlay Project. <br /> 131 <br />
