These improvements will fulfill <br /> the Bayside Park Master Plan objectives to provide an accessible walking trail and places to recreate. In <br /> response to the call for bids, eight bids were received ranging from$93,000 to $172,000 (including one bid <br /> alternate). The project engineer's estimate is $86,880. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder is <br /> INCO, LLC of Tukwila, WA. This proposed action is anticipated to be scheduled as a City Council action <br /> item on June 1, 2011, in coordination with the third and final reading of a proposed revised funding <br /> ordinance to complete this project. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign a construction <br /> contract with INCO, LLC of Tukwila, WA in the amount of$93,000 plus Washington State Sales Tax to <br /> complete Bayside Park Phase 2 improvements. <br /> 155 <br />
