Application will take place at a <br /> Washington State Department of Ecology approved Class B land application site and in accordance with a <br /> Site Specific Land Application Plan or Beneficial Use Facility Plan as approved and/or permitted by <br /> Ecology. <br /> Invitations to bid were sent to 13 potential bidders, advertised in the Herald, and posted on the City's <br /> website. Responses were received as shown on the attached bid summary. Staff is recommending awards to <br /> the two lowest bidders: Sno-Valley Farms Inc. for 2880 tons and Cascade Materials &Aggregate LLC for <br /> any remaining tonnage. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award Bid 2011-011 and Authorize the Mayor to Sign Contracts for Loading, Hauling and Application of <br /> Class B Biosolids to Sno-Valley Farms and Cascade Material & Aggregate in the estimated amount of <br /> $226,028.28 including Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> 157 <br />
