The TIP lists all the anticipated transportation capital improvements for which the City may <br /> pursue some phase of development during the next six years (2012-2017). The TIP includes street and <br /> highway improvements, non-motorized projects, and transit investments. It is a financially unconstrained list. <br /> The resolution authorizes City staff to seek funding for the various project phases which could include <br /> design, right-of way acquisition, equipment acquisition, construction, or implementation. The Transportation <br /> Advisory Committee and Planning Commission have reviewed the 2012-2017 TIP and recommend its <br /> approval. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt a Resolution concerning the Annual Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Update for 2012- <br /> 2017. <br /> 39 <br />
