The funding for these projects is provided through Community Development Block Grants (CDBG). Program accounts were established in Fund 198 for each Neighborhood to simplify budgeting and expenditures for these CDBG Neighborhood Improvement Projects. The funds are used by the neighborhoods for replacing broken sidewalks, neighborhood clean-up, street safety projects, drainage improvements, and park improvements. RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the proposed Ordinance closing Community Development Block Grant special construction funds as established by Ordinance No. 2506-01 and 3016-07, and transferring balances from Fund 360 to Fund 198. 15
