The contract specified that <br /> construction management services are to be added by amendment at a later date. The design has been <br /> completed, the project was bid, and the bids were opened May 10. Supplemental Amendment No. 1 will <br /> authorize MWH to precede with the engineering support services during construction for the replacement of <br /> Transmission Line 3. <br /> Authorized expenditures on the project were: 1) $314,202 for the original design contract, 2) $2,000 for <br /> advertising the call to bids, and 3) $6,174,996 for construction award, for a total of$6,491,198. <br /> Supplemental Amendment No. 1 will add$289,729, bringing the total expenditures requested to date to <br /> $6,781,194. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with <br /> MWH Americas, Inc. to provide engineering services during construction of the Water Transmission Line 3 <br /> —Phase 7 Replacement Project in the amount of$289,729. <br /> 65 <br />
