The pipeline will be replaced with similarly sized pipe. <br /> The project's objective is to restore the design capacity and integrity of the pipeline that has been in <br /> service for more than 80 years. It has exceeded the original service life estimates of 50 years. The <br /> project will replace the existing pipe located in the Panther Creek basin which is a salmon rearing <br /> creek and has several wetlands which makes maintenance access difficult.
