2 <br /> stalking as defined in RCW 9A.46.110 or EMC 10.16.050 of one family or household member <br /> by another family or household member. For purposes of this subsection, "assault"includes, but <br /> is not limited to, an intentional touching of another person that is harmful or offensive regardless <br /> of whether any physical injury is done to the person. <br /> Section 4: <br /> Ordinance No. 1145-85 §14 (part)is amended by the addition of the following section: <br /> Electronic monitoring. <br /> "Electronic monitoring" means a program in which a person's presence at a particular location is <br /> monitored from a remote location by use of electronic equipment. <br /> Section 5: <br /> Ordinance No. 1145-85 §14 (part)is amended by the addition of the following section: <br /> Family or household members. <br /> "Family or household members" means spouses, domestic partners, former spouses, former <br /> domestic partners, persons who have a child in common regardless of whether they have been <br /> married or have lived together at any time, adult persons related by blood or marriage, adult <br /> persons who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past, persons <br /> sixteen years of age or older who are presently residing together or who have resided together in <br /> the past and who have or have had a dating relationship, persons sixteen years of age or older <br /> with whom a person sixteen years of age or older has or has had a dating relationship, and <br /> persons who have a biological or legal parent-child relationship, including stepparents and <br /> stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren. <br /> Section 6: <br /> Ordinance No. 1145-85 §14 (part) is amended by the addition of the following section: <br /> Victim. <br /> "Victim"means a family or household member who has been subjected to domestic violence. <br /> Section 7: <br /> Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1234-86, as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1807-91, <br /> Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2291-98 and Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2467-00 (EMC 10.22.010), <br /> which reads as follows: <br /> Violation of no-contact order—Pre-trial <br /> A. 1. Because of the likelihood of repeated violence directed at those who have been <br /> victims of domestic violence in the past, when any person charged with or arrested for a <br /> crime involving domestic violence is released from custody before arraignment or trial on <br /> bail or personal recognizance, the court authorizing the release may prohibit that person <br /> 2 <br /> 9 <br />
