The best practice for the City of Everett is to define conduct <br /> constituting gross misdemeanor Harassment, over which the City has jurisdiction,but not set forth a detailed <br /> description of what constitutes felony Harassment, which is prosecuted by the State. The revisions that <br /> would take effect with this ordinance would change the City criminal code to simply refer to the appropriate <br /> state law code section for a detailed description of what constitutes felony Harassment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt an Ordinance relating to Harassment, Ordinance No. 1521-88, as amended(EMC 10.23.010). <br /> 19 <br />
