Tri-State Construction completed the project in accordance with the plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. The amounts paid to the contractor under this contract are as follows: The total paid to the contractor is $23,801,315.49,plus Washington State sales tax of$2,035,172.90. The contractor put up a retainage bond in lieu of retainage being withheld. The contract total paid to date is $25,836,488.39. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Accept the Replacement of Water Transmission Lines 2 & 3, Phase 6 Project as complete and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with Tri-State Construction, allowing the release of the retainage bond.
