Tri-State Construction completed the project in accordance with the plans and <br /> specifications and to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. <br /> The amounts paid to the contractor under this contract are as follows: <br /> The total paid to the contractor is $23,801,315.49,plus Washington State sales tax of$2,035,172.90. The <br /> contractor put up a retainage bond in lieu of retainage being withheld. The contract total paid to date is <br /> $25,836,488.39. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Accept the Replacement of Water Transmission Lines 2 & 3, Phase 6 Project as complete and authorize the <br /> Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with Tri-State Construction, allowing the release of the retainage <br /> bond. <br />
