McClure and Sons,Inc. completed the project in accordance with the plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. The amounts paid to the contractor under this contract are as follows: The total paid to the contractor is$385,939.00,plus Washington State sales tax of$35,506.39. The contractor put up a retainage bond in lieu of retainage being withheld. The contract total paid to date is $421,445.39. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Accept the Water Pollution Control Facility Phase B-1A Improvements Project as complete and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with McClure and Sons,Inc., allowing the release of the retainage bond. 19
