It also adds two new bid items to Schedule#1 for utility conduit crossings and perforated drain pipe installation. Change Order#2 also adds additional square yards of cement concrete pavement to Schedule#4 of the project. The new Schedule#5,which consists of fifteen(15)bid items,will track the costs to construct full-width street replacement and pavement overlay of existing roadways of upper and lower Laurel Drive. These roadways were originally designed to have trench patch restoration in the areas of the sewer replacement work,but it became necessary to do full-width replacement and overlay of these streets due to damage caused by heavy construction traffic loads during the course of construction in the Rucker Hill neighborhood. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order#2 with KLB Construction for the Sewer F, Schedule B Project in the amount of$352,415.00. 39
