The <br /> award is presented through a partnership of the Snohomish County PUD and the Bonneville Environmental <br /> Foundation. The award, which is at no cost to the City, is an installation of solar panels at the Carl Gipson <br /> Senior Center that are expected to produce approximately 3.65 kilowatts per hour and the installation of an <br /> educational kiosk at the senior center that will show the energy production and how solar electric systems <br /> work. This is a 10-year solar power energy demonstration. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize Mayor to sign the PUD Net Metering/Interconnection Agreement and the Bonneville <br /> Environmental Foundation's Solar 4R Schools Project Agreement that will allow the installation of solar <br /> panels at the senior center. <br /> 53 <br />
