1 Design Scope Development. Following the workshop, the Consultant will develop a Scope of Work for detailed design. After discussion, the Scope will become the basis for a contract amendment and the detailed design to follow in Task 600. Design will include submittals for 30%, 60%, 90%, and final Construction Documents to complete Phase 2. Deliverables: • Draft Basis of Design Report, 10 copies • Agenda, workshop and meeting notes • Response to comments • Final Basis of Design Report, 10 copies Phase 2 - Design • The Consultant will complete detailed design and prepare final plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates, subject to an amendment to the Scope of Work and Fee Estimate. Interim documents will be submitted for City review at 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100%. This Phase will include field surveying and mapping, geotechnical investigations; utility agency coordination, community relations support, permit and environmental assistance, and bid assistance. Phase 3 - Construction Support Services The Consultant will provide engineering support during construction, subject to an amendment for said services. Services will include meetings, occasional site visitations, limited submittal reviews, RFI and issue review and response, preparation of record drawings, surveying (monument re-establishment); and project close-out. All Phases Task 1100 Supplemental Services or Unanticipated Tasks A management reserve is established for the City's use with unanticipated project design issues or requirements. Use of this budget is at the sole discretion of the City and will not used without separate prior written authorization from the City. The Consultant will provide a written scope of services and budget to the City for approval prior to the beginning of any requested services.
