Budget Remaining $0.00 Additional Required $0.00 DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: This ordinance will create a special fund to accumulate all costs for the preliminary engineering phase of the,"41St Street to West Marine View Drive Corridor Improvements" The project will evaluate improvements to three major Everett intersections: W.Marine View Dr. &Pacific Ave.,Pacific Ave. & Rucker Ave., and Rucker Ave. &41st Street. The intent of the project is to reduce commercial traffic through the Central Buisness District(CBD),make a more direct connection between Rucker Avenue and West Marine View Drive,and reduce pass-through traffic entering the CBD on Rucker Avenue. The work will include signal improvements, expanded turn lanes with improved radii at key intersections,and sidewalk improvements to match the new street sections. The funding sources for this project are as follows: STP -Federal Grant $ 1,450,000.00 Fund 119—Street Improvements 226,300.00 Total $1,676,300.00 RECOMMENDATION: Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled, "41St Street to West Marine View Drive Corridor Improvements,"Fund 303,Program 091,to accumulate all costs for the improvement. 1
