Cost of the uniform items over the initial three-year term <br /> is estimated at$82,706. <br /> Laidlaw Graphics was awarded the contract on 9/28/11. On 10/06/11, Laidlaw Graphics withdrew their bid <br /> stating they had misunderstood the intent of the bid and thought it was for a once a year lump sum purchase <br /> not smaller"as needed" purchases throughout the year and that they could not honor their prices. <br /> Staff recommends awarding the contract to the next apparent low bidder, QuarterMaster. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Rescind Award to Laidlaw Graphics and Authorize Award to QuarterMaster for Bid 2011-056 for the <br /> purchase of Transit Uniforms in the amount of$82,705.90 including Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> 29 <br />
