2 <br /> � j •/fT <br /> k <br /> _ 1) <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br /> "North Everett Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety," Fund 303, Program 093, <br /> to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic and safety improvement <br /> program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received funds for design and <br /> construction of pedestrian safety improvements on Broadway, Colby Avenue and 36th Street; <br /> and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 093, entitled "North <br /> Everett Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety,"to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 093, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the"Public Works Director," under direction of the Mayor, <br /> to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$410,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 093, "North Everett <br /> Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety,"as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design $ 50,000.00 <br /> Construction 360,000.00 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $410,000.00 <br /> 4 <br />
