S.Department of Justice initiative designed to provide a critical resource to state and local law <br /> enforcement. FY 2011 BVP funds became available earlier this year for purchase of compliant armored <br /> vests ordered on or after April 1,2011. On July 7,2011,the Everett Police Department applied for funding <br /> to cover the maximum of fifty percent of the cost of 50 vests. The total cost of the 50 vests is$37,569.00; <br /> therefore,the EPD applied for$18,784.50. Hall,and Hauge Homestead Parks. The City also received$11,366 <br /> from the Snohomish County PUD Incentives Program for these improvements.
