This project involves the design and right-of-way of a non-motorized <br /> overcrossing of the BNSF rail line at 36th Street just east of Smith Street in Everett. The design will also <br /> include the associated non-motorized improvements on 36th Street and Smith Street needed to connect the <br /> new overcrossing with the existing non-motorized facilities adjacent to and south of the Everett Station on <br /> Smith Street. The City has received an additional federal grant for this project. <br /> The funding sources for this projects are as follows: <br /> STPE-0420(018)—Federal Grant $ 100,000.00 <br /> CM-STPE-0420(018)—Federal Grant 517,969.00 <br /> Fund 119—Street Improvements 83,583.00 <br /> Total $ 701,552.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled, "36th Street/BNSF Rail Line Non- <br /> Motorized Improvements",Fund 303, Program 078,to accumulate all costs for the improvement project <br /> and repealing Ordinance No. 2972-07. <br /> 11 <br />
