2 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br /> "Snohomish River/Langus Park Public Access Pedestrian Bridge," <br /> Fund 303,Program 057,to accumulate all costs for the improvement <br /> project and repealing Ordinance No. 2565-01. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is committed to a planned pedestrian improvement program; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has identified the need and received a Federal grant for the <br /> design,in two phases, of a pedestrian bridge over the Snohomish River; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 057, entitled, <br /> "Snohomish River/Langus Park Public Access Pedestrian Bridge",to accumulate all costs for the <br /> improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 2565-01. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 057,for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director or City Engineer," under <br /> direction of the Mayor,to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br /> doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$974,940.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303,Program 057, "Snohomish <br /> River/Langus Park Public Access Pedestrian Bridge", as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design—Phase 1 $ 974,940.00 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 974,940.00 <br /> 8 <br />
