2 EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 1. Work to be Performed: <br /> The Scope of Work for Botesch,Nash&Hall Architects,P.S.is to provide architectural and design services, <br /> construction administration services,submittal document review,and attend necessary project planning meetings for <br /> replacing/retrofitting/recoating roofs at Wall Street Building,Everett Main Library,Service Center No. 1 Building, <br /> Fire Station No.1,replacing the roof and exterior siding at Evergreen South Branch Library,Carl Gipson Senior <br /> Center,and the Everett Performing Arts Theater. Each project will bid separately and have its own set of bid <br /> documents. Each set of documents will include the following: <br /> a. Cover sheet. <br /> b. Demolition roof plan and related notes. <br /> c. New roof plan and related notes. <br /> d. Show new fall protection(except at the Evergreen South Library). <br /> e. Detail Sheet(s). <br /> f. Specifications. <br /> 2. The following scope of services will be taken to provide separate bid documents to replace,recoat,or retrofit for <br /> the following roofs at seven owned city building: <br /> A. Wall Street Building Penthouse,2930 Wetmore Avenue: <br /> 1. Retrofit Penthouse metal roof. <br /> 2. Add new gutters and coping. <br /> 3. Retrofit approx.2,500 sq.ft.of Metal Roofing(retrofit). <br /> B. Everett Main Library,2702 Hoyt Avenue: <br /> 1. Provide fall protection in areas without high parapets. <br /> 2. Re-roof all areas except metal roofs <br /> 3. Provide core samples and moisture tests of the existing roofing. <br /> 4. Re-roof approx. 19,661 sq.ft. <br /> C. Service Center No. 1 (Main Administration PW),3200 Cedar Street: <br /> 1. Provide fall protection. <br /> 2. Re-roof 300 sq.ft.of roofing. <br /> 3. Re-coat the rest of the roof. <br /> 4. Improve supports under existing HVAC equipment. <br /> 5. Square footage of roofing 39,360 sq.ft. <br /> D. Fire Station No.l,3619 Rucker Avenue: <br /> 1. Provide fall protection <br /> 2. Re-roof approx.8,667 sq.ft.of existing flat roofed area. Slope metal roofed areas to remain. <br /> 3. Provide core samples and moisture study of the roof. <br /> 4. Detail new copings. <br /> E. Evergreen South Branch Library,9512 Everegreen Way: <br /> 1. Re-roof approx. 11,200 sq.ft.of roof with composistion shingles. <br /> 2. Provide new Hardiplank siding to replace approx.2,809 sq.ft.of existing cedar siding. <br /> F. Carl Gipson Senior Center,3025 Lombard Avenue <br /> 1.
