0!!!ti ORDINANCE NO. 1812-91 An Ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. E!/E12ETT 1765-91 , and Section 44(D) of Ordinance No. 1671-89, Extending the Effective Date of Section 37 of Zoning Code Ordinance No. 1671-89 (Environmentally Sensitive Areas) . WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted Ordinance No. 1765-91 which extended Section 37 of Zoning Ordinance No. 1671-89 (Environmentally Sensitive Areas) until September 1, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Planning Commission's recommendation for a revised Environmentally Sensitive Areas section of the Zoning Code and remanded the recommendation to the Planning Commission for further consideration; and WHEREAS, the revised Environmentally Sensitive Areas section of the Zoning Code will not be adopted prior to the expiration of the interim regulations on September 1, 1991, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is necessary to further extend the interim regulations until such time as the Council adopts revised regulations. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SECTTC)N 1 : Section 44(D) of Ordinance 1671-89, as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1765-91 , which reads: Section 37 of this ordinance, Environmentally Sensitive Areas, is interim and shall remain in effect until September 1, 1991. is hereby amended to read: Section 37 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended by Ordinance No. 1729-90, is interim and shall remain in effect until December 1 , 1991. S1CTTON 2: This is a public emergency ordinance necessary for the protection of the public health, safety and welfare; and shall be made effective immediately upon becoming valid.
