. „OP, r' EVERETT Al ORDINANCE NO. 1799-91 AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 3 and 4 of Ordinance No. 1482-88 and adding Section 5 to increase the total estimated cost a7a- appropriation for the special construction fund entitled "Kasch Park Construction" Fund 316, Authorizing the design and construction of improvements at Kasch Park. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1482-88 was created to fund the construction at Kasch Park following the tax increase approved by City Council; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1482-88 included funding for construction and other miscellaneous charges need to be included; and WHEREAS, the project contractor, Blaze Construction built facilities for Kasch Park as outlined in the construction plans and specifications; and WHEREAS, based upon many necessary changes to the plans and drawings and improvements to the project, there is a need to adjust the total estimated cost and appropriation; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1482-88 which reads as follows: The total estimated cost of the improvements authorized is $3,484,572 which shall include all costs related to design, construction, contract administration, plan development and associated costs. be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: • The total estimated cost of the improvements authorized is $3,624,572 which shall include all costs related to design, construction, contract administration, plan development and associated costs. Section 2: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1482-88 which reads as follows: A. The sum of $3,484,572 is hereby appropriated to Fund 316 Program 945 "Kasch Park Construction". B. Source of Funds: 1.
