ARTICLE 5 - DEFINITIONS <br />For purposes of the Agreement, the following phrases are hereby defined: <br />Bargaining Unit - The bargaining unit shall include all employees listed in Article 4. <br />Platform Time - The actual time the bus operator has charge of the bus; normally this would be <br />from the time he/she leaves the designated reporting location with the bus until he/she is <br />relieved by another bus operator and returns to the designated reporting location or until he/she <br />returns the bus to the designated reporting location. <br />Designated Reporting Location - The physical location where an employee reports and signs on <br />and off for work within the City limits. An employee's sign off location will be the same as <br />his/her sign on location. <br />Regular Run - A run where the platform time exceeds seven (7) hours and one (1) minute. <br />Straight Run - A regular run where the platform time is unbroken. <br />Mark-up - Bidding by the bus operators for runs and days off according to their working <br />seniority. <br />Division - Everett Transit Division, a division of the Everett Transportation Services Department. <br />Spread Time - The time in excess of eleven (11) hours required to complete a regular run. <br />Permanent Part -Time - Employees classified as paratransit extra board operator, who because <br />a full-time position is not warranted, work less than full-time. <br />5 <br />
