Section 13: <br />Vacation shall be taken as follows: <br />A. Four (4) hours minimum for extra board and straight run operators. <br />B. The entire a.m. or p.m. work piece for split -shift operators. <br />C. Inspectors and maintenance personnel may take vacation in a 2 hour minimum block <br />with written approval of the employee's supervisor. <br />D. Paratransit Operators may take vacation in a 2 hour minimum block at the beginning or <br />end of their regular work shift. <br />Section 14: <br />Except when an employee has signed for a vacation day on his/her day off (due to a new <br />markup), employees may not remove their name from the vacation roster during the seven (7) <br />day period prior to the vacation date without written notice to and express approval of the <br />Director of Transportation Services or designee. <br />12 <br />
