• ORDINANCE NO. 1793-91 An Ordinance of the City of Everett Amending Portions of Zoning Ordinance Nos. 1671-89 and 1729-90 by Approving a "Short List" of Zoning Code Amendments WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted Zoning Ordinance No. 1671-89 which became effective on January 13 , 1990; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 1671-89 was amended by the "Housekeeping Amendments" of Ordinance No. 1729-90; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended that an annual review of the Zoning Code occur to keep the ordinance up-to-date; and WHEREAS, the City received numerous suggestions for various amendments to the zoning code for the 1991 annual Zoning Code review; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission decided to consider a "short list" of proposed Zoning Code amendments ahead of the larger group of suggested revisions; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the "short list" of Zoning Code amendments at a public hearing on April 16, 1991 and recommended that the City Council approve certain of the proposed Zoning Code amendments; and WHEREAS, The City Council has conducted a public hearing to consider the recommendations of the Planning Commission. WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed amendment bears a substantial relation to the public welfare and is in the best long term interests of the Everett Community. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SF'TTQN 1: Subsection 4 .020.A of Ordinance 1671-89, is amended by the addition of the following: Si1vPr T,akp WatPrghpd means the area of land whose surface drains to Silver Lake.
