• EVERETT ORDINANCE NO. 1791-91 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of 37th Street east of and adjacent to Grand Avenue plus a portion of 38th Street east of and adjacent to Grand Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, did by Resolution No. 3403, duly adopt and fix the 23rd day of January, 1991, at 8:30 a.m. , as the date of public hearing; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and determination of said resolution has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing, favorable statements and objections to the vacating of the herein described street were heard and discussed; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would not vacate the street could it not retain an easement; and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett that the said street resolved to be vacated should be vacated pursuant to the terms and conditions of this ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the following described right-of-way: That portion of 37th Street as constructed North of Block 10, Friday's Second Addition to Everett, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, Page 56, Records of Snohomish County, Washington, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwesterly corner of Block 13, Friday's First Addition to Everett, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, Page 34, Records of said county; thence South 88 degrees 54 minutes 33 seconds West a distance of 5.39 feet; thence South 83 degrees 45 minutes 20 seconds West, along the North right-of-way of 37th Street as constructed, a distance of 110.08 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing South 83 degrees 45 minutes 20 seconds West a distance 7.88 feet; thence North 67 degrees 56 -1- (60)
