April 26, 2017 <br /> AGREEMENT — SMITH ISLAND / UNION SLOUGH HABITAT <br /> RESTORATION SITE <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services <br /> Agreement with ICF Jones & Stokes in the amount of $102,000 to <br /> perform monitoring of the Smith Island/Union Slough Habitat <br /> Restoration Site. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT — LAND USE AND CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br /> EXAMINER <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to concur with Mayor's appointment of Hearing Examiner <br /> and authorize the Mayor to execute a Personal Services Contract <br /> with Sharon Rice as the Land Use and Code Enforcement Hearing <br /> Examiner for a term of four years beginning August 1, 2017. <br /> Katie Rathbun, Legal, introduced newly appointed Hearing Examiner <br /> Sharon Rice. <br /> Council Member Roberts welcomed Ms. Rice and thanked Mr. Driscoll for <br /> his past service as Hearing Examiner. <br /> Council Member Murphy thanked Legal staff for responding to his <br /> questions from last week's briefing, and welcomed Ms. Rice. <br /> President Tuohy also welcomed Ms. Rice. <br /> 149 <br />
