The <br /> City bid document included an incorrect DBE bid form and has been advised by the Washington Department <br /> of Transportation that it cannot award the bid under federal guidelines. Consequently,Public Works is <br /> recommending that all bids be rejected and authorization for another call for bids be approved for this <br /> project. This project will replace traffic signal controllers, controller cabinets, and install conduit systems <br /> and fiber optic communications cable through the Rucker Avenue and Pacific Avenue corridor to facilitate <br /> and implement the Transit Signal Priority System. <br /> The budget for the construction contract is$ 1,098,941.50 and the sources of funds are: <br /> CM-0099(104)—Federal Grant $ 969,400.00 <br /> Fund 157—Traffic Mitigation 130,300.00 <br /> Fund 425—Everett Transit 130,300.00 <br /> Total sources of funds $ 1,230,000.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Reject all bids for the SR99/Evergreen Way BRT Signal Priority Improvements (Rucker and Pacific) and <br /> authorize a new call for bids for the SR99/Evergreen Way BRT Signal Priority Improvements (Rucker and <br /> Pacific). <br /> 15 <br />
