S. Department of Justice initiative designed to provide a critical resource to state and <br /> local law enforcement. On July 18, 2011,the Everett Police Department applied for funding to <br /> cover the maximum of fifty percent of the cost of 50 vests. The total cost of 50 vests is <br /> $37,569;therefore,the EPD applied for$18,784.50.
