This ordinance rezones almost all of the commercially zoned areas on Evergreen Way <br /> from the existing B-2 and C-1 zones to the new Evergreen Way(E-1) zone and the Mixed Use Overlay <br /> (MUO)zone. <br /> Two areas with existing development agreements (contract rezones)will not be rezoned and will retain their <br /> existing B-2 zoning(41st Street Safeway, and Claremont Village Shopping Center). <br /> No existing residentially zoned properties are proposed to be rezoned as a result of the Evergreen Way <br /> Revitalization Plan. Two residential lots are proposed to be added to the E-1 and MUO zones through the <br /> separate comprehensive plan docket process that will come to City Council in the near future. <br /> The E-1 zone will be applied as the underlying use zone for the entire commercial corridor within the city <br /> limits.
