Unspent mini-grant funds of$2,300 will be transferred to the Neighborhood Project account to allow for a new round of neighborhood grants for additional projects to enhance the community. Unspent Neighborhood Large Project funds in the amount of$32,000 will be re- appropriated for 2012 large projects. $14,486 of the$32,000 has already been committed for large grants awarded to South Forest Park and Lowell neighborhoods. S. Department of Justice initiative designed to provide a critical resource to state and local law enforcement. On July 18,2011,the Everett Police Department applied for funding to cover the maximum of fifty percent of the cost of 50 vests. The total cost of 50 vests is $37,569;therefore,the EPD applied for$18,784.50.
